Why is my verification in review?

Manual review happens when our automated checks need human confirmation. This can happen automatically or when you request it.

Common reasons:

Image quality — Poor lighting, blurry image, or camera issues

Facial obstructions — Hats, sunglasses, hands covering face

Lighting issues — Too dark, too bright, or harsh shadows

System confirmation — Our system needs human verification for accuracy

Review time: Typically less than one minute

What happens:

• You'll see "Your verification is under review"

• A real person reviews your submission

• Once reviewed, your verification is either completed or you'll receive further guidance

While in review: You'll need to wait for the review to complete. You won't be able to retry until the review is finished.
